#5. INTEGUMENT

ROQUAI integument (back)

Sonnet 002: The Zenith Tempers Warmth in Hueful Mist

The zenith tempers warmth in hueful mist,
Of indigo splatters and crimson beams;
Wisps go flickering, zone of blossoms twist,
For art carnival of aesthetic creams.

Thee heart’s a-beating drunken symphony,
Conjures pure, shrill pounding acappella;
Cognating pulse on graceful melody,
An ensemble of forceful orchestra.

Thy sway tickles all dead integument,
Pressure’s on accord, feeble limbs awake;
Impulse enlivens every element,
An ecstatic cradle in every flake.

Nestle me lambent gal, don’t leave me be,
Thee orbs thou have enslaved wish not be free.
